Hua Chen was born in 1952 in the People's Republic of China. He earned a Bachelors Degree of Fine Art and later a Master of Fine Art Degree in sketching, watercolor and oil painting from the Central Institute of the Fine Arts in Beijing, China. He relocated to the United States in the late 1990's. His one-man shows have been exhibited in Japan, Hawaii, China and the United States.
