My Journey w Mother 30 x 30 oil canvas

This painting was inspired by a scene I used to drive by regularly in the back roads of Moss

Beach, California.  It was a forest area with lots of trees that naturally grew together at the top creating an archway with nusturtions climbing and growing all over them.  As the painting developed a mother w child wanted to be in the mix to create a focal point.  My journey  with my mother is like walking through a forest, a garden, through the dark as well as into the light.  The good times and the bad.  I love that we end up in the light.  And of course the journey itself contains all the memories.  She holds my hand the entire way.  My Mother is woman of God and an amazing role model for me.  I am so blessed to have her as my Mother and I thank God for her every day.

Framed in shabby chic white washed very wide  ornate frame
